PATHSHALA

Education is every child’s basic right and forms the root of society’s development. However, our country continues to have one of the lowest literacy rates for women and girls. Education for girls is essential for the country’s development.
Project “Pathshala” aims to provide the girl child quality education that will empower them, and save them from poverty and exploitation. Through this initiative, we not only educate a girl; we educate the entire family. Our aims at eliminating the obstacle of affordability for the children who possess a ‘Can Do’ ability, but lags behind on financial grounds.
Presently, around 100 girls are given free evening classes under this project.

BOOK BANK

We realized there are many students who aren’t so privileged and can’t afford to purchase even the text book. This thought made us work passionately towards this cause and we sure that the extra books lying on your shelves reach those who can’t effort them.
We know the value of books. Books give exposure to children. They open a whole new world for them to drive in.
The idea behind the session was to inspire the students to look ahead and to give them hope. The movie –‘Nil BatteySannata’ is a message of hope. It narrates the value of dreams and education and how they can change your life irrespective of your social status if you are ready to put in the hard work and weather the storms that are sure to test your perseverance.”
